South Molton Deanery The South Molton Deanery is a grouping of 33 Anglican churches in North Devon, centred around the market towns of South Molton, Witheridge and Chulmleigh. The Deanery is largely rural, the biggest town being South Molton, population 4426, the smallest being Cheldon, population 30. The Deanery seeks to serve the 33 churches in their mission and worship within their local communities and supports initiatives which serve the church and seek to help it grow.
