The Bideford and District Pot Black Snooker League was established in 1949 and teams from the towns and villages in the area participate in 5 frame matches every Thursday during the winter months. Players from Bideford and District gather in pubs and clubs to do battle with each other, not only in the regular League matches,but also in several competitions during the season. The league is run by a management committee elected at the AGM each year and consists of a Chairman,Secretary,Treasurer,Fixtures Secretary & a Competitions Secretary, together with six other player/members also elected at the AGM.
I will hopfully continue with the good work of my predecessor and am open to any sensible suggestions to increase the information on the site
