Big Band - The Cedars Showband

The Cedars Big Band brings the Big Band sound to North Devon. The Band was formed in 1995 and is made up of around 16-18 amateur musicians of all ages ranging from 17 - 86 who all have a passion for the Big Band sound. We enjoy playing music from the likes of Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and may more. Our Musical director Roy Crabb arranges most of our music and we also have our in house vocalist Alan King. The Band performs a monthly concert at the Cedars Inn Barnstaple which is free. There is a dance floor for those wanting to dance the night away!
We are frequently booked for events such as World War themed evenings as we have music of that day amongst our repertoire. If this is something you are planning please get in touch.
