Ashreigney Country Fundraisers are a small group of like-minded people, raising funds for locally based charitable organisations. Funds are raised through events which reflect our interest in older machinery and country music.

North Devon and Childrens Hospices
|

Ashreigney Country Fundraisers are delighted to announce that a total of £2200.00 has been donated to our nominated charities for 2007.
The presentation to Children's Hospice Southwest was held at North Heale, Ashreigney, on Friday 30th November. Committee Chairman Paul Bailey thanked everyone for their sterling efforts during 2007, and presented a cheque for £1100.00 to Mr Paul Curtis, Community Fundraiser, of the Children's Hospice. We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Curtis for travelling all the way to Ashreigney in very inclement weather conditions, to accept our donation.
The presentation to the North Devon Hospice took place at Deer Park on Sunday 2nd December. After an explanation of the aims and activities of the Hospice, and a guided tour of the facilities, Alison Hunt Community Fundraising Manager of the North Devon Hospice accepted a cheque for £1100.00 from Paul Bailey. Our sincere thanks go to Ali, for taking the time to make us so welcome at the Hospice, and for allowing us to see where and how our donation will be used.
The committee and friends of Ashreigney Country Fundraisers would like to thank all those people who have helped, in any way, to make 2007 the outstanding success that it was. We look forward to meeting you at some or all of our events next year.
